tatrāṣṭaguṇamaiśvaryaṃ yogināṃ samudāhṛtam| tatsarvaṃ kramayogena ucyamānaṃ nibodhata

Therein the eightfold lordly power of the yogins has been declared; hear all of that as it is being told in due order.

aṇimā laghimā caiva mahimā prāptireva ca| prākāmyajcaiva sarvatra īśitvañcaiva sarvataḥ

vaśitvamatha sarvatra yatra kāmāvasāyitā| taccāpi vividhaṃ jñeyamaiśvaryaṃ sarvakāmikam

and then mastery everywhere, wherein there is the fulfilment of desire: and that lordly power, granting all wishes, is to be known as manifold.

VaP 1 13.5

sāvadyaṃ niravadyaṃ ca sūkṣmañcaiva pravarttate| sāvadyaṃ nāma tattattvaṃ pañcabhūtātmakaṃ smṛtam

It operates as blameworthy, blameless, and also subtle. That principle called "blameworthy" is held to consist of the five elements.

niravadyaṃ tathā nāma pañcabhūtātmakaṃ smṛtam| indriyāṇi manaścaiva ahahkāraśca vai smṛtam

Likewise, that called "blameless" is held to consist of the five elements; and the sense-faculties, the mind, and the I-maker (ahaṅkāra) are also so reckoned.

tatra sūkṣmapravṛttantu pañcabhūtātmakaṃ punaḥ| indriyāṇi manaścaiva buddhyahaṅkāra saṃjñitam

Therein the subtle operation is again what consists of the five elements: the sense-faculties, the mind, and what is designated intellect and I-maker.

tathā sarvamayañcaiva ātmasthā khyātireva ca| saṃyoga evaṃ tripidhaḥ sūkṣmeṣveva pravarttate

So too the all-composed, and the awareness abiding in the self. Conjunction, thus threefold, operates only among the subtle (things).

punaraṣṭaguṇasyāpi teṣvevātha pravarttate| tasya rūpaṃ pravakṣyāmi yathāha bhagavān prabhuḥ

Again, (the operation) of the eightfold quality too takes place among those very (subtle things). I shall declare its form, as the lord, the Blessed One, has said it.

trailokye sarvabhūtānāṃ duṣprāpyaṃ samudāhṛtam| taccāpi bhavati prāpyaṃ prathamaṃ yogināṃ balāt

VaP 1 13.13

īśo bhavati sarvatra pravibhāgena yogavit| vaśyāni caiva bhūtāni trailokye sacarācare| bhavanti sarvakāryeṣu icchato na bhavanti ca

The knower of yoga becomes lord everywhere, by distinction (of powers); and beings in the three worlds, with what moves and does not move, are subject (to him): in all works they come to be, or do not come to be, according to his wish.
