नारद उवाच । श्रुतं यथा भगवता बलिर्बद्धो महात्मना । किं त्वस्तयन्यत्तु प्रष्टव्यं तच्छ्रुत्वा कथयाद्य मे

(66.16) In heaven he became a dwarf of a thousand leagues by Viṣṇu's measure; there Śakra performed worship of him, equal in quality to that of the Self-born, O great sage. (66.17) This has been told to you: what the great-souled Lord Trivikrama did for the good of the gods. What the son of Diti, dwelling in Rasātala, did — hear that now; I shall tell (it), O brahmin.
