Ambarīṣa was his son; he became a devotee of Viṣṇu, and toward him Durvāsas became gracious on account of (his) devotion to Brahman. Nabhaga said: My brothers, having made a division for me, an unshared portion, properly — all of them, being divided (from one another) and well pleased, will give wealth to one who has come for the sake of his own portion, being satisfied, (namely) what remains over from their own sacrificial session. Nandīśvara said: Having heard this speech of Nābhaga, spoken truly, the man of dark appearance (Kṛṣṇadarśana), with a gracious mind, replied. Why say much, O best of sons? Go there quickly, do not delay; propitiate in every way the Great God, the Lord of all. Kṛṣṇadarśana said: The righteous word which your father spoke — that is indeed just so; and by you too the truth has been spoken; you are a good man, there is no doubt here.
