Brahmā said: Having heard this speech of the gods, O sage, I replied to all the gods with words suited to that occasion: "So act with the utmost effort in that matter — in causing the seed to fall into Pārvatī, the wife-to-be born of Menakā. Right there all the tasks fit for the gods will come about, O best of the demons(?); no deliberation is to be made in this."
