।। ब्रह्मोवाच ।। एकदा तु मुने तेन यज्ञः प्रारंभितो महान् ।। तत्राहूतास्तदा सर्वे दीक्षितेन सुरर्षयः

maharṣayo'khilāstatra nirjarāśca samāgatāḥ || yadyajñakaraṇārthaṃ hi śivamāyāvimohitaḥ bhavanāni mahārhāṇi suprabhāṇi mahāṃti ca || tvaṣṭrā kṛtāni divyāni tebhyo dattāni tena vai dvijarṣirājarṣisurarṣisaṃghā nṛpāssamitrāḥ sacivāssa sainyāḥ || vasupramukhyā gaṇadevatāśca sarve vṛtāstena makhopavettrāḥ tasmāttvayaiva kartavyamāhvānaṃ parameśituḥ || tvaritaṃ brahmaṇā vāpi viṣṇunā prabhuviṣṇunā tathā suragaṇaissākamāgatassurarāṭ svayam|| tathā yūyaṃ samāyātā ṛṣayo vītakalmaṣāḥ munau vinirgate tasmin makhādanyeṣu duṣṭadhīḥ || śivadrohī munīn dakṣaḥ prahasannidamabravīt
