śiva uvāca || he hare vatsa he brahmaṃstyajataṃ sarvaśo bhayam || śaṃkhacūḍodbhavaṃ bhadraṃ sambhaviṣyatyasaṃśayam tadā tvahaṃ bhavasteṣāṃ saṃtuṣṭaḥ proktavān vacaḥ|| bhayaṃ tyajata he kṛṣṇa yūyaṃ sarve madājñayā prabhuṃ praṇamya sadbhaktyā militvā harimādarāt || saṃmato vidhinā prītyā saṃtasthau śivaśāsanāt saṃbhaviṣyati te bhadraṃ gaccha svasthānamuttamam || sthātavyaṃ svādhikāre ca sāvadhānatayā sadā etadarthe hi madrūpaḥ paripūrṇatamaḥ prabhuḥ || kailāse bhaktavaśatassaṃtiṣṭhati girau hare hṛtādhikārāḥ kutale vicaraṃti yathā narāḥ || devaloko hi durdṛśyasteṣāmāsīcca tadbhayāt

Śiva said: O Hari, my child, O Brahmā, let go of fear altogether; good will surely come of the arising of Śaṅkhacūḍa, without doubt. — Then I, Bhava, being pleased with them, had spoken these words: "Let go of fear, O Kṛṣṇa; all of you (are) under my command." Having bowed to the Lord with true devotion, having joined Hari respectfully, approved by Brahmā with affection, he stood firm by Śiva's ruling. "Good will come to you; go to your own excellent place; and one must always remain in one's own office with attentiveness. For this very purpose the Lord in my form, the most complete, remains on mount Kailāsa out of submission to his devotees, O Hari." Those whose offices have been taken away wander on the earth like men; indeed, out of that fear the world of the gods became hard for them to look upon.
