Now I wish to hear the deed of the moon-crested one — his marriage, most auspicious, destroyer of every mass of sin. || You came with supreme affection, praising the supreme ordinance, and bowing with lowered shoulders, humble in spirit, palms joined. || Brahmā said: Addressed thus by you, Śambhu Śaṅkara, fond of his devotees, gracious in spirit, answered you respectfully, O lord of sages. || Indra and the other guardians of the worlds came with their retinues; all of them likewise adorned, festive, together with their wives. || And the serpents settled on his other limbs became the ornaments of those limbs, exceedingly lovely and made of various jewels. || Brahmā said: Addressed thus then by Viṣṇu, Śambhu the supreme lord, intent on worldly usage, did that according to the rule. || Then the lord of all, putting the brahmins and the gods in front, joyfully set out from that Kailāsa, best of mountains.
