SV 2 5112.1

धर्त्ता दिवः पवते कृत्व्यो रसो दक्षो देवानामनुमाद्यो नृभिः । हरिः सृजानो अत्यो न सत्वभिर्वृथा पाजांसि कृणुषे नदीष्वा

dharttā divaḥ pavate kṛtvyo raso dakṣo devānāmanumādyo nṛbhiḥ | hariḥ sṛjāno atyo na satvabhirvṛthā pājāṃsi kṛṇuṣe nadīṣvā

The upholder of heaven flows clear, the effective sap, the skill of the gods, to be hailed with joy by men; the tawny one, let loose like a racehorse (driven) by warriors, at will you make your bulks in the rivers.

Compare with Ralph T.H. Griffith

On flows the potent juice, sustainer of the heavens, the strength of Gods, whom men must hail with shouts of joy, Thou, gold-hued, started like a courser by brave men, art lightly showing forth thy splendour in the streams.

— tr. Ralph T.H. Griffith (1893)

SV 2 5112.2

śūro na dhatta āyudhā gabhastyoḥ svā3ḥ siṣāsanrathiro gaviṣṭiṣu | indrasya śuṣmamīrayannapasyubhirindurhinvāno ajyate manīṣibhiḥ

Like a hero he takes weapons in his two hands, seeking to win the light, a charioteer in the quests for cattle; rousing Indra's fury, Indu, impelled by the busy (fingers), is anointed by the thoughtful ones.

AI translation rendered from the Sanskrit, not a published edition — the model flagged this verse as uncertain

Compare with Ralph T.H. Griffith

He takes his weapons, like a hero, in his hands, fain to win light, car-borne, in forays for the kine. Indu, while stimulating Indra's might, is urged forward and balmed by sages skilful in their task.

— tr. Ralph T.H. Griffith (1893)

SV 2 5112.3

इन्द्रस्य सोम पवमान ऊर्मिणा तविष्यमाणो जठरेष्वा विश । प्र नः पिन्व विद्युदभ्रेव रोदसी धिया नो वाजां उप माहि शश्वतः

indrasya soma pavamāna ūrmiṇā taviṣyamāṇo jaṭhareṣvā viśa | pra naḥ pinva vidyudabhreva rodasī dhiyā no vājāṃ upa māhi śaśvataḥ

O Soma, flowing clear, with your wave, showing your might, enter into Indra's inwards; swell for us the two worlds as the lightning does the clouds; with insight mete out to us prizes, one after another.

AI translation rendered from the Sanskrit, not a published edition — the model flagged this verse as uncertain

Compare with Ralph T.H. Griffith

Soma, as thou art purified with flowing wave, exhibiting thy strength enter thou Indra's throat. Make both worlds stream for us, as lightning doth the clouds: mete out exhaustless powers for us through this our prayer!

— tr. Ralph T.H. Griffith (1893)
