Agni, that splendour of yours which is in heaven, and that which is in the earth, in the plants, in the waters, O you worthy of worship — with which you have stretched out the wide midspace: that brilliance of yours is flashing, surging, beholding men.

Agni, you go toward the flood of heaven; you have called to the gods, those who are on the fire-hearths — and to the waters that stand near above in the bright realm of the sun, and to those below.

O Agni, to the sea of heaven thou goest: thou hast called hither Gods beheld in spirit. The waters, too, come hither, those up yonder in the Sun's realm of light, and those beneath it.

Agni, bring to success for the invoker refreshment, the much-working gain of cattle, most enduringly. May there be for us a son, offspring, propagating; O Agni, may that favour of yours be ours.

AI translation rendered from the Sanskrit, not a published edition — the model flagged this verse as uncertain

Compare with Ralph T.H. Griffith

Agni, as holy food to thine invoker give wealth in cattle, lasting, rich in marvels. To us be born a son and spreading offspring. Agni, be this thy gracious will to us-ward.

— tr. Ralph T.H. Griffith (1896)
