Then, having killed him, he crossed the Yamunā, went to Nanda's cattle-station, greeted his parents and comforted them, and was embraced by the two of them; he embraced all the elders of the cowherds, comforted them, and gratified all who were there with many garments, ornaments, and the like.

There, worshipped day by day by Vasudeva, Ugrasena, Saṃkarṣaṇa, Pradyumna, Aniruddha, Akrūra and the rest, and by his sixteen thousand and eight queens, he — assuming all forms (at once) — gave (them) pleasure within bowers of creepers made of divine jewels, upon exceedingly smooth couches strewn with the blossoms of the celestial trees.

Thus, for the benefit of all the gods and for the destruction of the entire burden of the earth, having descended into the Yadu lineage, and having accomplished the destruction of all the rākṣasas and thereby destroyed the great burden of the earth (which they had made), and having freed the dwellers of Nandavraja and Dvārakā, whether unmoving or moving, from the bondage of existence, and having established (them) in the supreme, eternal abode, meditated upon by yogins, delightful — Vāsudeva, continually served by (his) divine queens and the rest, spoke among all (beings).
