By it those great mountains and the rivers and lakes were enclosed, together with the forests and pleasure groves, by (that rampart) of earth. And palaces too were encompassed, expert in (surveying) the world and beyond. Higher than that world-famed dwelling of that very lion of the Yadus, a mansion was fashioned by Viśvakarman: that of Rāma, the lion of the Yadus, shines exceedingly charming. Thus did the bull-eyed one survey Dvārakā; and Kṛṣṇa beheld his own house, resplendent with a hundred palaces.
