Even as he entered, Akrūra asked repeatedly after the presence of Keśava, of Rohiṇī's son, and of Nanda the cowherd. // He saw in the cow-pen the footprints of him whose spotless foot-dust is resorted to by the crowns of all the world-guardians — marvels upon the earth, marked out with lotus, barley-grain, goad and the rest. His agitation swelling with the joy of seeing them, the hairs of his body erect with love, his eyes brimming with tears, he leapt down from the chariot and rolled about in them, (crying) "Ah, these are the dust of the lord's feet!" Just this much is the aim of embodied beings: to abandon pretence, fear and sorrow — he who, from the message, (comes) by seeing and hearing and the rest of the marks of Hari. Then the Yādava was informed by the cowherds, "This is it." He, the mighty one, like a giver of wealth, got down from his vehicle and entered Nanda the cowherd's house for his lodging. // With a face full of joy and with tear-filled eyes, even as he entered at the door he saw, at the milking of the cows, Kṛṣṇa standing amid the calves like a bull with its calf.

With speech overwhelmed by joy and faltering, the Yādava gazed with both eyes upon Viṣṇu, agitated. Then Akrūra thought: "Surely there is no one in the world like me, who have seen this lord of the worlds entire — Nārāyaṇa, Hari, smaller than the small, grosser than the gross. Who in the world is like me, I who have seen the Lord?" And the knower of dharma called out, "Come, dear Keśava!"

I bow to the lotus-eyed one whose form is Nara-Nārāyaṇa; I bow to Viṣṇu the Dwarf, whose manhood strode across the three worlds.
