yāvattiṣṭhate viṣṇustāvattābhyāṃ triviṣṭapam | ākrāṃtamindrasadanam yāmyaṃ kauberameva ca raṇakaṃḍūti śāṃtyarthaṃ vijayāyetarāya vā | ripumenaṃ haniṣyāvo gacchāvo vā punarbhavam sva sva vyāpārarahitā sarve tatparatāṃ yayuḥ | ālāpaṃ tasya giriśaḥ kailāse śrutavānmuhuḥ skaṃdaṃ gaṇeśvaraṃ devīṃ pārvatīṃ ca surānṛṣīn | tato maheśvaraḥ prītyā liliṃga prakaṭaṃ harim ṣaḍakṣaraśca bhagavaṃ stayorekaṃ vadāmi te | tata ekākṣaraṃ tyaktvā siddhāricakrayogataḥ

"To quell the itch for battle, whether for victory or otherwise, we two shall slay this foe, or else we shall go to rebirth again."
