Ever intent on thought of austerity, he was wandering in the midst of the waters. "I (shall tell) you, four-faced one, the means that takes away every anxiety." Seeing that mass of radiance I trembled, O Vyāsa, good sage; he fell into the utmost anxiety, his mind distracted, fallen away from his recitation. "Being merely remembered by me, do you always bring all my work to completion; at the end grant me firm liberation and spotless knowledge." Then Ka (Brahmā), his mind made clear by the command of the Supreme Lord and by his grace, caused creation, extensive as before, to be made.
