resplendent with priceless garments of the colour of turmeric purified by fire, [and with ornaments] made at will, for delight, of the essence of the best of gems and jewels. (They saw her) whose face was lovely with lips that stole the glow of the bandhūka blossom, whose lotus-feet shone with a pair of tinkling anklets, adorned with all ornaments — ornaments themselves adorned by her beauty. All the thirty (gods) were amazed on seeing her, the supreme Mistress. All those gods praised her, every wish of theirs fulfilled. (Trees) with fully ripe fruit, bearing ripe fruit season after season; pleasure and pain, calamity and prosperity, grief and anxiety, good and ill; and brāhmaṇas fixed in brahminhood, ascetics rich in penance fixed in austerity, brahmin-sages fixed in Brahman, and yogins fixed in yoga. Birth, death, old age, disease, fear, and the torments of Yama exist for other doers of works, but never for the devotees. So too they perish without delay, as grasses in fire; no one is their protector when I stand as slayer. At that moment they all saw an excellent chariot, adorned with diamond and with the essence of the best of gems and jewels; and another (woman) on the right, delightful, with radiance equal to a hundred moons, of the hue of refined gold, smiling, most charming. At that moment there, descending from the chariot made of gold, Viṣṇu himself, the protector and lord of the worlds — (a chariot) fitted with the essence of the finest gems, furnished with cloth pure as fire, provided with white yak-tail fans, adorned with mirrors; and (her) adorned with armlets, bracelets and wristlets of the finest true jewels, her breast brilliant with garlands of mandāra flowers. Kṛṣṇa, his face a lotus with a smile, said to Kamalā: "You go to the house of Bhīṣmaka, furnished with many jewels. By the mere sight of Kaṃsa you shall go to Śiva's presence. Having removed the burden (of the earth) I shall go to my own hermitage. And she who abides in Śambara's house in the form of a shadow — you shall become his son by the name Aniruddha." Seeing Gaṇeśa he sat down gladly on a comfortable seat; all of them happily beheld the form that enchants the three worlds. "The three gods Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Maheśvara are portions of me; and by rising above those two he (Viṣṇu) is the best, consisting of the sattva quality." "Your word, O Mahādeva, I shall indeed carry out in protection; obtaining birth in another body I shall worship Hari, O Hara." Nakula and Sahadeva were both born from a portion of the physician of heaven; Karṇa the hero was a portion of the Sun, and Vidura was Yama himself. "I am unable to close my eyes when I behold you; without you, O lord, how shall I go to the surface of the earth? Your body is (sustained) by my life-breaths — by whom, or what compassion, O Hari? — the two feet of Murali's player were fashioned by the self or by the mind. The sprout too is the support of the tree, endowed with the power of life; the seed is the sole support of the sprout, and the earth the support of the seed. As a potter is unable to make a pot without clay, and a goldsmith is unable to make an ornament without gold —" "You shall see me daily in Yaśodā's house, joyful, the son of Nanda, O blessed one, with my embrace." And seeing Rādhā full of tears, most wretched, distraught with fear, Hari himself spoke to her words of reassurance fit to be heard: "Having given you the inner (spiritual) truth, and again truly with you, henceforth there is no separation from me day or night." Śrī Hari spoke to the gods and to the goddess what suited the occasion: "Gods, go, each for his task, to his own abode as suits his sphere." Then the supreme Goddess, having circled him seven times and bowed seven times, stood again before Hari.
