।। श्रीकृष्ण उवाच ।।

|| śrīkṛṣṇa uvāca || sarveṣāṃ darpabhaṅgaśca kathitaśca śrutastvayā || kṣudrāṇāṃ mahatāṃ caiva kṛta eva na saṃśayaḥ candanāgurukastūrīkuṅkumāktaṃ cakāra tam || muhurmuhurmukhaṃ vīkṣya cucumba paramādaram

Śrī Kṛṣṇa said: The breaking of the pride of them all has been told (by me) and heard by you — of the small and of the great alike it has indeed been done; there is no doubt. He smeared her with sandal, aloe-wood, musk and saffron, and again and again, gazing on her face, he kissed (her) with the utmost affection.

śrīnārāyaṇa uvāca || ityevaṃ vacanaṃ śrutvā māninī rasikeśvarī || uvāca kṛṣṇaṃ naya māṃ na śaktā gaṃtumīśvara

Śrī Nārāyaṇa said: Having heard this speech, the proud mistress of delight said to Kṛṣṇa: "Carry me, O Lord; I am not able to go."

rādhikā vacanaṃ śrutvā prahasya madhusūdanaḥ || māmāruhetyevamuktvā so'ntardhānaṃ cakāra ha vinindya kṛṣṇaṃ kopena tarjayāmāsa ca kṣaṇam || kṣaṇaṃ śarīramutsraṣṭuṃ kopātsarvāḥ samudyatāḥ || kāścidūcuḥ prāṇacoraṃ paśya rakṣeti saṃtatam || evaṃ punarna karttavya maneneti ca kāścana nānāprakāraśṛṅgāraṃ kāmaśāstraviśāradaḥ || cakāra kāmī krīḍāṃ ca kāminyā saha kautukī sa bhavenmātṛghātī ca vedātikramaṇe mune || trailokye bhārataṃ dhanyaṃ karmakṣetraṃ ca puṇyadam

Hearing Rādhikā's words, Madhusūdana laughed and, saying "Mount upon me," he vanished. Reviling Kṛṣṇa, in anger she threatened (him) for a moment; for a moment all (the women), out of anger, were ready to give up their bodies. Some said, "Look at the thief of our lives — protect (us)!" continually; and some (said), "This should not be done again by him." Skilled in the treatise of love, the passionate one, full of playfulness, performed love-play of many kinds with his beloved. He would become a matricide too, sage, in transgressing the Veda. In the three worlds Bhārata is blessed, the field of action, granting merit.

garīyasī trijagatāṃ mātā śataguṇaiḥ pituḥ || rādhākṛṣṇeti gaurīśetyevaṃ śabdaḥ śrutau śrutaḥ

The mother of the three worlds is a hundred times weightier than the father; thus the words "Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa" and "Gaurī-Īśa" are heard in scripture.
