And the young women praised her: 'Blessed, blessed is the chaste one!' — and some girls said, 'Durgā is fortunate!' — (her) resplendent in a pair of priceless, matchless, richly variegated garments, her lovely cheeks shining with two fine jewelled earrings; and a hundred brahmin boys to serve as brothers to Pārvatī, and a hundred lovely chariots built of the finest of the best gems. Having made his praise in this way, Himālaya ceased; and all the gods and the sages praised the lord of mountains.
