"O goddess, presiding deity of the river, become embodied and chaste; by my blessing (become) shapely, beautiful, the best of women, beautiful among beautiful women, blessed and honoured among women, shining with the lovely colour of the campaka, her lip like a ripe bimba fruit, the best (of women)." "Having gone near, rise up and remove her offended pride. She by the mere worship of whose feet (one becomes) the supreme mistress of all — that you do not know, good lady; how am I able to say it? He who dwells on Śvetadvīpa, the protector, Viṣṇu himself, the mighty one — he too is a portion of his, and whatever is upheld (by him) is the supreme Imperishable."
