Nārāyaṇa said: Through Bhāratī's curse she came to Bhārata by the Lord's will, and at the curse's end she went again to that Vaikuṇṭha — glossy in radiance, exceedingly tender, having the form of pure sattva, with full firm hips and an excellent pair of fine buttocks; wearing a priceless necklace set with rubies and purified by fire, and a pair of yellow garments fastened with a waistband; standing in a humble attitude, frightened, her throat, lips and palate dry, taking refuge by meditation at Śrī Kṛṣṇa's lotus feet. Meanwhile Rādhā spoke to the Lord of the world with sweet speech, calm, courteous, smiling, O sage. Then, rising up out of the water by yoga, she, a yoginī of accomplished powers, adorned and embodied, gave you her sight. Having divided up what was formerly given by you, weeping with love, having divided what was given from your two eyes out of shyness and out of fear of him — some to the worshippers of your mantra and to the Vaiṣṇavas, some to ascetics and to the righteous, for the sake of dharma. Having spoken thus, Rādhā, whose eyes were red lotuses, began to speak to Gaṅgā, the chaste one, whose face was bowed and ashamed — (Kṛṣṇa) who acts by his own will and yet has form, whose body is grace to devotees, whose nature is truth, the lord of truth, the witness-form, eternal, seated on the breast of Rādhā who is dearer to him than life, having eaten the fragrant betel offered by her: the gods saw the utterly complete one on every side in the rāsa — for one instant Kṛṣṇa, the supreme, together with Rādhā, and for an instant each seated on his own separate seat and together with her. Praising with his four mouths, his neck bowed in devotion, the ordainer of the four Vedas, the four-faced one, said: Lakṣmī, Sarasvatī, Gaṅgā, and Tulasī the purifier of the world — these four alone are Nārāyaṇa's women, O sage. Gaṅgā abode in Goloka, in Vaikuṇṭha, in Śiva's world, in Brahmā's world and elsewhere, here and there, of old.
