Sūta said: With joy the gandharva Upabarhaṇa took his pleasure together with Mālāvatī, and with those (women) he enjoyed the remainder of his time in a lonely forest. "May the gandharva Upabarhaṇa be my husband" — thus desiring, that lustful woman, beautiful, the best of beautiful women, richly adorned with a dot of vermilion, bright with fine and lovely collyrium, adorned with the splendour of lac-dye on her feet, in form just like Urvaśī — she herself goes to the Kumbhīpāka hell, having made men fall, and her maternal grandfathers, and ten forebears and ten descendants of her own. And the śūdra woman, bathed after her menses, having drunk there for a moment with joy, bowing to the sage, greatly delighted, went off to her husband's side. Twelve lakhs of cows and three lakhs of buffaloes and three lakhs of royal geese she gave joyfully to the brahmins. The brahmin, saying "Mother!", taking her, filled with joy, went in a moment to his own house, which was full of jewels.
