अपराधमिमं राम मया कृतमजानता । स्थितो ऽस्मि तव निर्देशेशाधि किं करवाणि वै ॥ ब्न्द्प्_२,५७।७५ ॥ इति श्रीब्रह्माण्डे महापुराणे मध्यमभागे तृतीये उपोद्धातपादे भार्गवं प्रति वरुणागमनं नाम सप्तपञ्चशत्तमो ऽध्यायः ॥ ५७॥ जैमिनिरुवाच एवं ब्रुवाणं वरुणं विलोक्य पतितं भुवि । संजहार पुनर्धीमानस्त्रं मृगुकुलोद्वहः
