पैशाचं तीर्थम् अपरं पूजितं ब्रह्मवादिभिः तस्य स्वरूपं वक्ष्यामि गौतम्या दक्षिणे तटे ॥

paiśācaṃ tīrtham aparaṃ pūjitaṃ brahmavādibhiḥ tasya svarūpaṃ vakṣyāmi gautamyā dakṣiṇe taṭe //

There is another ford, the Paiśāca, honoured by those who expound the Veda. I shall tell of its nature: (it lies) on the southern bank of the Gautamī.

गौतम्यां स्नानदानाभ्यां शापमोक्षो भविष्यति इत्य् उक्त्वा ताव् उभौ प्रीतौ तत्रैवान्तरधीयताम् ॥

gautamyāṃ snānadānābhyāṃ śāpamokṣo bhaviṣyati ity uktvā tāv ubhau prītau tatraivāntaradhīyatām //
