चक्रतीर्थम् इति ख्यातं स्मरणात् पापनाशनम् तस्य प्रभावं वक्ष्यामि शृणु यत्नेन नारद ॥

cakratīrtham iti khyātaṃ smaraṇāt pāpanāśanam tasya prabhāvaṃ vakṣyāmi śṛṇu yatnena nārada //

There is (a ford) known as Cakratīrtha, destroying sins by the mere remembrance of it. I shall tell (you) its power; listen attentively, Nārada.
