तां सवितः सत्यसवां सुचित्राम् आहं वृणे सुमतिं विश्ववाराम् । याम् अस्य कण्वो अदुहत् प्रपीनां सहस्रधारां महिषो भगाय
tāṃ savitaḥ satyasavāṃ sucitrām āhaṃ vṛṇe sumatiṃ viśvavārām | yām asya kaṇvo aduhat prapīnāṃ sahasradhārāṃ mahiṣo bhagāya
That favour of thine, O Savitṛ, of true impelling, of fair brilliance, bringing all good things — that I choose; which Kaṇva, the buffalo, milked from him, swollen (with milk), thousand-streamed, for good fortune.
