यस् ते पृथु स्तनयित्नुर् य ऋष्वो दैवः केतुर् विश्वम् आभूषतीदम् । मा नो वधीर् विद्युता देव सस्यं मोत वधी रश्मिभिः सूर्यस्य
yas te pṛthu stanayitnur ya ṛṣvo daivaḥ ketur viśvam ābhūṣatīdam | mā no vadhīr vidyutā deva sasyaṃ mota vadhī raśmibhiḥ sūryasya
That broad thunder of yours which is lofty, the divine banner that pervades all this — do not slay our grain with the lightning, O god, and do not slay it with the rays of the sun.
