Do not proclaim anything else at all, friends; do not come to harm. Praise Indra the bull, together, at the pressed (soma), and recite hymns again and again.

Glorify naught besides, O friends; so shall no sorrow trouble you. Praise only mighty Indra when the juice is shed, and say your lauds repeatedly:

— tr. Ralph T.H. Griffith (1895–96)

अवक्रक्षिणं वृषभं यथाजुरम् गां न चर्षणीसहम् । विद्वेषणं संवननोभयंकरं मंहिष्ठम् उभयाविनम्

avakrakṣiṇaṃ vṛṣabhaṃ yathājuram gāṃ na carṣaṇīsaham | vidveṣaṇaṃ saṃvananobhayaṃkaraṃ maṃhiṣṭham ubhayāvinam

(Praise) the down-rushing bull, as one unaging, like a steer that overpowers the peoples, him who sets at variance and who reconciles, the doer of both, most bountiful, possessing both.

Compare with Ralph T.H. Griffith

Even him, eternal, like a bull who rushes down, men's con- queror, bounteous like a cow; Him who is cause of both, of enmity and peace, to both sides most munificent.

— tr. Ralph T.H. Griffith (1895–96)

Even though these people call upon you severally for aid, let this prayer of ours, Indra, be your strengthening on all days.

AI translation rendered from the Sanskrit, not a published edition

Compare with Ralph T.H. Griffith

Although these men in sundry ways invoke thee to obtain thine aid. Be this our prayer, addressed, O Indra, unto thee, thine exalta- tion every day.

— tr. Ralph T.H. Griffith (1895–96)

They contend with one another, O bounteous one — the discerning ones, the inspired words of the men of the stranger. Step near, bring the manifold prize, nearest at hand, for (our) aid.

Compare with Ralph T.H. Griffith

Those skilled in song, O Maghavan, among these men o'ercome with might the foeman's songs, Come hither, bring us strength in many a varied form most near that it may succour us.
