विश्वे देवा वसवो रक्षतेमम् उतादित्या जागृत यूयम् अस्मिन् । मेमं सनाभिर् उत वान्यनाभिर् मेमं प्रापत् पौरुषेयो वधो यः

viśve devā vasavo rakṣatemam utādityā jāgṛta yūyam asmin | memaṃ sanābhir uta vānyanābhir memaṃ prāpat pauruṣeyo vadho yaḥ

All you gods, you Vasus, protect this man; and you Ādityas, be wakeful over him. Let not one of the same navel (kin), nor one of another navel, (harm) him; let no human deadly weapon reach him.
