Now the three hundred and sixth chapter: The Mantras that Bewilder the Three Worlds. Agni said: I shall declare the mantra that bewilders the three worlds, for the attainment of the four aims. Oṃ śrīṃ hrīṃ hrūṃ oṃ, homage. O Puruṣottama, O you whose form is that of Puruṣottama, abode of Lakṣmī, agitator of the whole world, render of the hearts of all women, maddener with intoxication of the three worlds — heat, heat the minds of the beautiful among gods and men! (dopaya dopaya) burn, burn! kill, kill! paralyse, paralyse! make them run, make them run! draw them, draw them! O supremely fortunate one, maker of all good fortune, granter of desire — strike, strike so-and-so! with the discus, with the mace, with the sword, with all... split him with arrows, split! bind him with the noose, bind! goad him with the hook, strike, strike! turu turu, why do you stand? — until my wish is accomplished. hūṃ phaṭ, homage. Oṃ Puruṣottama, maddener of the three worlds, hūṃ phaṭ — homage to the heart. Draw (them), O mighty one, hūṃ phaṭ — to the weapon. O lord of the three worlds, strike the minds of all people, strike! rend, rend! bring them into my power! hūṃ phaṭ — to the eye. O bewilderer of the three worlds, O you whose form is like Hṛṣīkeśa's, attractor of the hearts of all women, come, come! Homage. The placing (nyāsa) is declared as with the root-mantra, together with (?) the six limbs.
